I hope you are keeping safe and well as we navigate through these uncertain times. We are pleased to announce that we are moving to phase 3 of the return to golf protocol commencing Monday, June 29th.
There is no doubt that this phase presents new challenges and the team are working hard to prepare for these. The Restaurant will re-open, all our summer visitor pre-bookings will be re-confirmed, there will be an easing of restrictions on how venue will operate and we have increased the supply of dedicated Members Tee Times. As always, they will be reviewed weekly and are subject to change.
This phase will see the re-introduction of the following:
Our timesheets from the 29th of June to the 5th of July will go live for booking at 12 pm Thursday 25th June.
I’d like to thank Members for their co-operation and understanding in these unprecedented times and remind you that if you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we’ll be happy to assist.
Yours in golf,
St. Margaret’s Golf & Country Club
IMPORTANT MEMBER TEE TIME ALLOCATION UPDATE
With effect from the weekend commencing 4th July, we will introduce a temporary change to the member tee time allocation at the weekend.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS WEEK?
WHEN CAN I BOOK?
Members are encouraged to use the online booking facility to arrange tee times. The Golf team will be prioritising the safety of golfers at the club, which could lead to delays in answering calls.
HOW MANY ON THE TIMESHEET?
Under the new GUI protocols, we are restricted to a limited number of golfers each day that can be on the course.
Members who do not follow the guidelines and book more times will have their names removed from the timesheet. New booking protocols will be reviewed weekly.
Members are allowed to bring up to three guests to play our Championship Golf Course from 29th June onwards.
CAN I JUST CALL UP?
No, for contact tracing only members with a confirmed tee time booking will be allowed to enter the golf facility.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Modifications will be made to these arrangements as we progress through phase 3. These will be communicated to you directly by email.
We thank all members for their co-operation and hope you are all keeping safe and well.
