On Wednesday the Captain and President welcomed the new inter-club managers to a meeting in the clubhouse.

The vice-captain, last year’s captain, competition convenor, club professional, assistant general manager and our newest mentors Turlough and Alan attended.
The managers were issued with the club’s guidelines regarding club uniform, practice at the range and on the course, use of social media, arranging matches and catering.
The managers briefed the Captain on their preparations and plans.
Our club professional Shane outlined the coaching available to team panels.
Managers are finalising their panels so if you are still considering your decision to volunteer be aware the volunteer sheets will be removed on 18th February. You can still volunteer after that date but you will be asked to contact the managers directly.
Some members have asked if they qualify for teams despite having a higher handicap than required.
Our recommendation is to join the panel, attend the coaching and go and watch the team playing. You will see the standard required to make the team.
